    HUT’s rural school stands as one of the top twenty schools in Tiruchirappalli district, offering good education and results. (based on performance in Tenth Board exams) A tenth standard examination is conducted by the Tamil Nadu Education board, which is common for both rural and urban schools. It tests the quality of the education and students. Passing out of these examinations surely open doors to higher education for these students and finally guarantee a decent job.

    HUT rural school has won many awards in the field of education, including producing a continuous record of 100% result in Tenth standard board examinations for last 7 years.

    For example, for the tenth standard board examinations result of the year 2014, all 25

    students appeared have passed (100% pass percentage) with the topper scoring 97% (487/500). Also 76% of the students (19 out of 25) who appeared for the examinations got First class pass marks (more than 80% marks), which is a very good result for a rural school.
